Funfair

The show always coincides with the annual fair which is held in Stanhope Front Street and Market.

Thrilling rides including Waltzer, Dodgems and Miami are always in attendance along with numerous side stalls and roundabouts.

The children always get excited when they see the fair pull into the town and eagerly watch as the stalls and rides are being built up.

Then on the Friday evening prior to the show it starts and Stanhope is lit up with all the dazzling lights from the rides and stalls.

With a charter been awarded by Queen Victoria the fair is a tradition that has continued from the Victorian era.

Operated by Jamie Clark the rides are all modern and up to date therefore giving the very latest thrilling entertainment.
