Our fabulous indoor shopping festival is situated in a large marquee, providing visitors with the opportunity to buy from a wide range of independent, unique traders.  Stanhope's very own festival of shopping is always popular and early booking for stands is recommended.

Festival of Shopping

Craft, produce and food stalls are a very popular and important and part of Stanhope Show. The stalls are located in 300 square metres of marquee which is based along the hill near the rail side, a very impressive and welcoming marquee that can be seen be visitors from all across the showground. The marquee has pitches for around eighty stalls and each year our shopping marquee boasts the very best creative goods and products, from confectionery to meats, cheeses to preserves, jewellery to bags, books to crafts, plus much more. However, due to the huge increase in visitors to the show in recent years, the stalls have become very popular so it is a good idea to book early.

Please note that we accept entries based on the type of product you will be exhibiting.  Our aim is to provide visitors with an diverse range of goods and products.  Better for buyers and better for sellers!

Stands can be set up from 3pm on Friday. Overnight security will be on site from Friday evening until Monday morning.   

The Society will not assume responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by any person at or in connection with the show.

Please be aware that the marquee area is not for the selling of any food or beverage items that may be consumed on the show field.
