The colourful trade stands produced by local and national businesses, provide hospitality and a place to meet and share experiences. This all creates a most enjoyable atmosphere at our two day show.
Trade stands are a popular and important and aspect of Stanhope Show. The stalls are based round the main ring. The showground has pitches for around seventy trade stands and charity stalls covering various aspects from clothing to foods, saddlery to pet care, photographers to plants, plus much more.
Trade Applications: 2018
New requests for outside trade space are always welcome and further details are available here. Vacancies are allocated on the content of the stand rather than the time the request was made and applications may be turned down if we already have similar exhibitors.
The Show runs alongside the fair which takes place on Stanhope Front Street and as such we do not offer spaces on the show field for any paid for fairground type rides or attractions which may conflict with a long standing agreement.
The catering and bar facilities provided on show day are dealt with by outside companies - please do not direct any correspondence relating to this to anyone except the General Secretary.
Outdoor stands can be set up from 9am on Wednesday 5th September 2018
Stallholders are ultimately responsible for the security of their own valuable items.
Trade Stand Opening Times
All stands must be manned throughout the times the show is open to the public – 9am – 5pm
Please be aware that the trade stand area is not for the selling of any food or beverage items that may be consumed on the show field.
Please direct all new enquiries for trade stand space to the General Secretary, Lisa Johnstone. You can download an introductory letter and application form here.
